REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY – Classroom & In-Person Training

1. Overview
This policy applies to all face-to-face, classroom, and practical skills training courses (e.g., Moving & Handling, First Aid, Clinical Skills) delivered by MDG Health Consult Academy.
2. Participant-Initiated Cancellations & Refunds
If you or your organisation need to cancel a classroom course booking, your eligibility for a refund depends on how much notice you provide:

| More than 14 Calendar Days | Full (100%) Refund (minus a 10% administrative processing fee) |
| 7 to 14 Calendar Days | 50% Refund or Free Date Transfer |
| Fewer than 7 Calendar Days | No Refund (Date transfers subject to availability & re-booking fee) |
| Less than 48 Hours / No-Show | No Refund & No Transfer |
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to support@MDGHealthConsult.co.uk.
3. Date Transfers & Delegate Substitutions
- Delegate Substitution: You may substitute a registered attendee with another staff member at no additional charge up to 24 hours before the course start time.
- Course Date Transfer: Requests to move your booking to a future date made with at least 7 days’ notice are processed free of charge (subject to seat availability).
4. Late Arrivals & Shut-Door Policy
To maintain quality and comply with clinical assessment timeframes, we operate a strict shut-door policy:
- Delegates arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused entry to prevent disruption.
- Delegates refused entry due to late arrival or failure to attend will not be eligible for a refund or a free transfer.
5. Course Cancellations by MDG Health Consult Academy
In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a classroom session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, trainer illness, or venue failure):
- You will be offered an immediate place on an alternative date, OR
- A Full (100%) Refund of the course fee paid.
Note: MDG Health Consult Ltd is not liable for indirect costs such as delegate travel, transport, or accommodation expenses.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 14 working days.
- Refunds are returned via the original payment method used during checkout (Stripe/PayPal/Bank Transfer).
