The TIER 1 Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training is ideal for staff needing general awareness of how to support autistic people and individuals with a learning disability.

• Co-delivered by experts by experience and a subject matter facilitator 

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM TIER 1 VIRTUAL SESSION.

This training has been introduced to address those challenges by giving staff the skills and awareness needed to make a real difference.

 It covers key topics such as

• Understanding learning disability 
• Understanding autism 
• Reasonable adjustments 
• Self-reflection on our own attitudes and behaviours 

Participants engage in real-time discussions, Q&A, and interactive learning modules via webcam, ensuring high engagement and full compliance without requiring travel.  This online session is co-delivered by a qualified trainer and two Experts with Lived Experience; the course brings real-life perspectives to the forefront.
